Why we shouldn't bike with helmets
This talk add to the helmet debate. I must declare that I only ware a helmet when riding in icy conditions or may be in a city. The arguments presented here are compelling
I'm not sure I understand this guy's argument. On the one hand he's saying cars should carry a warning that they can kill people but on the other hand he's saying people are too scared. I wear a helmet partly because my wife would worry if I didn't and partly because I'd feel a complete fool if I did hit my head, badly, and hadn't bothered to wear one. I've known enough people who have suffered cycling accidents (and had a few myself) to know that they do happen and if one happens to me, I'd rather have the dice loaded a little bit on my side.
